Unit 1 Activity 4: THE ANALYSIS TEAM: CONSIDER, ATTACK AND REPORT
This task can be undertaken individually online via an art/design/architectural work that is shared through social media. This task can also be performed by an entire class of students who divide up the analysis of one or two art works.
This task requires group analysis in great detail of only one element of design (Links to an external site.).
What to do
- Each group is given an element of design to analyse in detail.
- The detail must be surgical in its attack!
- The shared analysis is read out to the audience. Comments and feedback are recorded.
- The art/design/architectural work is discussed by the entire class, or social media correspondent.
What to submit
A report of 300 – 500 words, including the image being discussed.
Assessment
This activity will be assessed against criteria 1, 3 and 4.
