Welcome to Art Theory & Criticism Level 3!
This course is for students who have an interest in art but who do not necessarily wish to be artists, as well as those who intend to become artists. It belongs to a suite of visual arts courses, sitting alongside Art Production 3 and Art Studio Practice 3.
Art Theory and Criticism deepens and broadens the knowledge and appreciation of those who wish to become designers, architects, artists, arts administrators, exhibition curators, arts critics and gallery directors, or journalists and historians.
This course is designed for 150 hours of study. It consists of six units, each dealing with a specific area of the course.
